Anna of Arendelle

One word- FROZEN!
This movie came into our life like a blizzard of happiness.
We saw this movie in theaters when it first came out and five plus times after that.
The soundtrack is played start to finish in our house and car everyday.
Harrison & Lala act out all the scenes and performed Let It Go at an open mic night together.

When Christmas time was in the air, all Lala asked for was the Anna dress. She made sure Joe and I knew along with each time she saw Santa. She talked morning to night about wanting that dress "her whole life!" To buy a back-up in case Santa forgot, two days before we checked our local store and it was all out then drove further and found ONE in her size! We had told her that the stores were either out or running low and she still had faith in Santa and the elves. Christmas morning came and she opened an overflowing stocking complete with a surprise singing Anna doll. At the end she looked at Joe and I and said "It's ok that I didn't get the Frozen dress.. I'm happy with this doll." She sang with Anna to her bedroom to get dressed and found Santa had put the dress in there! Her reaction was magic.

Anna of Arendelle meet Lala of Park City!
Joe and Lala came for some snow fun after Sundance this year.
She was sure to pack her favorite dress.

Snowball fight!

Thanks Santa!
You made one happy little girl.

Valentines Day 2014

We love holidays, especially holidays dedicated to the ones we love!
Lala woke up to Valentines books, stickers, a mailbox full of goodies, and two new dolls.

Breakfast was pinktastic!

Besides the Valentines books, she was so happy to get a few new Disney books!

Specialty hot cocoas!

My pants from Candice = ]

We hung out with friends for a bit and Lala spent some time with her Godfather while Joe and I saw a movie!

We also got Starbucks.

Very special this Valentines, Lala received a very sweet package from her honorary Grandma Cookie. Harrisons grandma came for a while when Aaron(Harrisons dad) was on a trip. I left for Sundance and Cookie helped both Joe and Candice. We miss her <3 nbsp="" p="">

Lady & the Tramp (remastered) theme night!

#TheAdventuresofLalaandHarrison
This theme night was put on with the great help, creative mind, and chef hands of my dear friend Candice over at feedmeteachme.com!
Be sure to check out her site for recipes from this theme night(and beyond), seaweed art for sale, and the adventures of their cute chef family.

Without further adieu, I present, Lady & The Tramp (part two)!

He's a Tramp, but I love him...

Quick craft:
felt ears on headbands for this little lady & tramp.

Lots of coloring pages

and stickers!

Lady figurine

Books & the movie (which Harrison had not seen yet!)

Wine for the moms
grape juice for the kids.

A romantic dinner for two

BEST spaghetti and meatballs I have ever had (and I've been a Buca di Beppo girl for years).
Roll up your sleeves and click on over to feedmeteachme.com for these mouth watering meatballs!

Breadsticks and caprese salad on the side

They were so excited to recreate this moment from the movie.. but darn those noodles tasted so good it turned into a giggling competition of nibbling to the middle.

Instead of the cupcakes, we made one round cake..and by we I mean Candice. She made a delicious vanilla funfetti cake from scratch.
Topped with rolled fondant, lingonberry jam, and junior mints- this dessert was fun and tasty!

After a nice bath, they got cozy by the fire and finished watching the movie before falling asleep.

The thank you card I made for Candice and Harrison = ]
